Permanent Jewelry is a clasp-less piece of jewelry that can be applied to your wrist, ankle, or neck. The demand for permanent jewelry is on the horizon as thin, dainty jewelry has become increasingly popular. Styles are curated for both genders & are often popular among couples!
This jewelry can undergo months of wear without needing to be cleaned or maintained. Depending on the type of metal, a piece can last anywhere from 3 months to 15 years!
Permanent Jewelry is applied with a welder that allows fragile metals to be welded together in a fraction of a second. The quick spark welds together a jump ring that replaces the need for a clasp (clasp-less jewelry) after the client has been sized for the appropriate amount of slack. The spark that is generated during this process is NOT of high temperature allowing for quick & safe application. Although this spark is visible for a millisecond, protective eyeglasses are strongly encouraged for the provider.
NO! The customer will not feel a thing as we are working with the metal - not the customer's skin! There is absolutely no risk to the customer as the welder will only react to metal. With our machine, should the customer's skin come in contact with the weld point, the electrode will not generate a spark.
The chains applied during this process are thin enough to last but not thick enough to cause harm to the wearer in the event that it becomes caught on an object. If they need to be removed for any reason...simply snip with a pair of scissors. Should the customer wish to remove the jewelry for any reason, it can always be re-welded for a fee.
Gold filled is your best option if you are looking for a material that doesn't change color and want to keep your price point down. Gold filled doesn't change color easily because it requires very specialized manufacturing and takes many steps to produce.
Unlike gold plated items which have a negligible amount of gold content, Gold Filled contains a minimum of 5% 12K or 14K gold by weight on top of a brass core. The result is a metal with a layer of gold thick enough to maintain its yellow and rose gold color through most wear and tear.
Our Gold filled chains look the same as their solid 14K counterparts at less than a tenth of the cost.
